Guiding Holland specializes in the organization of city walks in Amsterdam and daytrips in Holland. The focus is on custom made tours, private group tours or small group tours up to 14 people (city walks Amsterdam) or 8 people (daytrips and tours in Holland). 

Travelling in these smaller groups has a number of advantages. You set the pace and you influence the length of the tour. Your guide is well able to respond flexibly to your needs and takes time to answer your questions.

What about my privacy when I contact Guiding Holland?

Your contact details will not be stored online, for example on our website! 

We store your contactdetails offline, but only to enable us to send you information or a quotation. 

In the case you book a citywalk or tour with us your phone number will be available for your guide, just to enable him (or her of course) to contact you about timing, meeting point, etc. Your contact details will be stored in our booking systems only as a text field and although we need to keep our invoices seven years available for (Dutch) tax purposes, the above text field will be deleted three months after your trip.

In the case we start a newsletter and you voluntarily subscribe, then we only need an e-mailadress. When you unsubscribe your e-mailadress will be no longer available for us.

When I book how do I pay Guiding Holland?

Guiding Holland sends you a booking confirmation with payment instructions. In most cases all will be fine, but when you encounter difficulties we assist you, for example by sending you a PayPal request or similar

What is the best time for a visit to the Netherlands?

We have relatively mild winters and our summerdays are in most cases not too hot. We have rain only about 8% of the time, but on quite a number of days.

All in all a visit to our beautiful country is possible all year round. And when you visit us not in the high season you share all the highlights with less people

When you come over to celebrate Kings Day (April 27) or really want to see the fields with the flowers (expectation 2025: Daffodils mid March - mid April, Hyacinths mid March - end April, Tulips 2nd week April - Early May, openingweeks De Keukenhof March 20 - May 11) you need to do some planning.
